Stop. Scatter. Motion.

This is another attempt at nothing. The program I have won't allow me to delete the zooming transitions in each frame (or at least I haven't figured it out yet). But I'm working on it. At least this gave me something to do. And I didn't try hard enough on the dolls placement, I just wanted to make images quick and painless, to try out the editing part.

Video attempt uno.

This was my first try at editing a video, nothing too fancy. Amanda and I, bored in West Palm, got inspired. Did a shit load of random shit, and that shit became even more shit in a shorter shittier Shit. So take a look. The great part of this was when Amanda and I watched the final product, and laughed our asses off!

The most wonderful time of the year?

Tomorrow. It's only a day away. Christmas. So far I have been avoiding christmas music, and attempting to avoid the chaos of shopping malls and plazas. The sickness rumbles in the pit of my stomach. Not the first christmas the whole family hasn't been together. We don't have family christmas parties anymore, due to the fact that most have past on. At least I don't have to work this Christmas like others in the past. And this time my brother won't be joining us. This is a time of cheer. But is it really? Most people think they are. But most just get stressed over financial situations. People give, and receive. I gave a bum some money and bought a pair of shoes that gives one to a child in need. Other than gifts for my parents, that is about all the giving I have done. Is that not enough? Am I not cheery on an acceptable level? Am I just not affected by the consumer bull shit? I think not. The jewelry commercials are the worst. The fake lives of happy couples, with love spells under a diamond, and some gold. Picture perfect. Or so they think.

On the road.

Thursday of last week I got my wisdom teeth removed. I was sedated, and had pain killers waiting for me at the house. After the inflation of my cheeks and avoiding going out into the public and being trapped in the gates of my home for a week, I emerged and immediately needed to get out. That brings me to the situation on travels up Florida. The thursday after my surgery I rolled down my windows cranked the volume of the shuffled library, buckled my seat belt and was off, and let my mind wander.

Thursday: Orlando. Downtown IBAR and BBQ Bar. Met up with Amanda and Nicole, and downtown I got to see many Orlando friends which was refreshing.

Friday: Satellite Beach. Met up with my folks at their beach house. Then we wen out to eat with Kate. I went back to Kate's house and some of her friends she knew from High School there came over. Drinking of Absinthe was involved, and after walking around the house in my bathing suit and a hoodie for an hour or so I never ended up going in the hot tub. That came the next morning, instant hangover cure.

Saturday: Orlando. There was much more fun to be had in the O Town. Amanda's boyfriend's band, Circus was having a show downtown Orlando @ Tanqueray's . Masks were worn, instruments were played and hands were clapped. After the show I hung out with two gentlemen and had good conversation.

Sunday: Orlando. Hung out with Nicole at Ates's house, and with their lovely dogs. There was another show. A few friends from West Palm were having a show with their band Surfer Blood downtown @ Backbooth. It was nice to see them and a few other friends. We continued our night at IBAR and did some dancin.

Monday: Gainesville. Chilled for the day with good music, then drove to Gainesville where Nicole had gone up earlier that day. Rode bikes to Free beer at Common Grounds, and Andrew Walters met up with us. I signed up to sing Karaoke but didn't get called and was a little bummed by that but got over it with ease.

That brings me to today Tuesday, We went to the dog park and ate amazing mexican food. Was in the mood for mexican food since a random wasted dude saw Andrew's work shirt from El Toro and was instantly intrigued and instantly went off on a tangent on how good their food was. ha. Planning on meeting with with a friend Steve tonight who I haven't seen since he got out of the marines.

So I will leave you on a happy note. I almost died today. Nicole made a U turn in front of a guy that was going really fast from the other direction who came inches away from slamming into my side of the car. My heart is still beating through the roof.
